Hey Reader,
We are deep in summer swim season right now -- it’s a SHORT season (usually end of May to mid July around here) which means it’s BUSY, INTENSE, and lots of fun all at once. After 3+ years of my oldest being on the team I’ve started to be known as … “the crafty mom.” Oops!

What sort of projects made me the "crafty mom" of the swim team?
Let’s be honest, I probably brought this on myself. From themed goodie bags during champs one year to the troll headbands for the parade last year, to making hype chains with our new 3D printer for winter season… yeah. This might be a me problem. But I can’t stop the crafting ideas, and when I’m stuck at the pool during practice for an hour + every day, the ideas come!
What is your favorite “crafty thing” you’ve done for your kids sports teams?

So what's in my "on the go" crafty bag?
It's a small zipper pouch filled with a few favorite supplies—some pre-cut embellishments, stickers, a notebook, a pen, and adhesive—is often all I need to capture a memory, journal a thought, or work on a project for a few minutes. Sometimes I'll bring a mini printer with too.
