Hey Reader, One of the questions I get asked most often is which type of memory-keeping project someone should start with. The answer isn’t about skill level—it’s about how you like to create. Binder, Pocket Album, or Mini Book? Which One Is Right for You?If you've been around here a lot, you know I have 3 "physical" go to ways to scrapbook -- binders, pocket albums, and mini books. But how do YOU choose which one fits your project right now? Let's break it down: Choose a Binder if… You love flexibility. A binder lets you add pages, rearrange layouts, and keep adding memories all summer long. It’s perfect if you aren’t sure exactly how many photos or stories you’ll want to include. Choose a Pocket Album if… You take lots of photos and want a polished finished project. Pocket albums make it easy to slip photos and journaling cards into page protectors without spending hours designing layouts from scratch. Choose a Mini Book if… You enjoy quick wins and smaller projects. Mini books are portable, low-pressure, and a great way to document a single theme, trip, or season without feeling overwhelmed. The good news? There isn’t a wrong choice. All three will help you capture your summer memories. The best option is simply the one that makes you excited to get started. |
